Who We Are:

Planting Mustard Seeds Ministry is a dedicated street ministry rooted in the heart of San Antonio. Inspired by a divine vision received by our founder, Lonnie Rodriguez, our mission is simple yet profound: to bring hope, nourishment, and spiritual support to our city’s most vulnerable. We operate with the firm belief that even the smallest act of kindness, like a mustard seed, can grow into something immense and life changing.

What We Do:

Every Saturday, our compassionate volunteers hit the streets of San Antonio, reaching out to those often overlooked. We consistently distribute 260 meals, provide essential clothing, hygiene packs, blankets, sleeping bags, tents, backpacks and offer heartfelt prayer to our less fortunate neighbors. We go where others may not, building trust and consistent relationships in ditches, under bridges, and in hidden corners of our city. Our focus is not just on physical needs but also on spiritual upliftment, aiming to save souls one interaction at a time.

We’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of consistent outreach. We hear stories of individuals who, after months of our unwavering support, find renewed hope and connection. While the need in our city is growing, often leading us to run out of food, our resolve only strengthens. We are committed to expanding our reach to serve even more San Antonians.
